BASE Jumping
Right time, right place. Thats the way this personal project even came close to fruition was without my intent. Previous to the start(I believe it was my second visit to the Valley) I was sitting in below Half Dome with my wife. She was looking up and spotted two unique looking objects. I foolishly and jokingly said "Oh, its just people." Two seconds later she shouted "You're right, it is people flying!" A couple visits later we were going to Glacier Point for the first time and saw a hitch hiker thumbing a ride to the same place. We picked him up and on our way up after a couple minutes he asked if we worked for the National Parks, to our reply no. He mentioned what he does and from the first time I witnessed the exit I was hooked. The rest is history.
