Joshua Tree National Park

Joshua Tree National Park

The first time I ever heard of Joshua Tree National Park was when it was suggested to my wife Shelly and I when we were looking to explore a Southern California forest. Being from the North East, we expected a dense population of pines, and were astounded with the spread of spikey Dr. Seuss trees scattered across the desert landscape. Though different than expected, the giant boulder fields and Milky Way night sky blanket made a magical place Iā€™m glad to have frequented.
